A hearty and flavorful Beef and Cheese Quiche, featuring seasoned ground beef, rich cheeses, and a creamy egg custard nestled in a flaky crust. Perfect for any meal of the day.

1 (9-inch) Pie Crust
1 lb Ground Beef
1 small Yellow Onio
2 cloves Garlic
4 Large Eggs
1 ½ cups Whole Milk
1 cup Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
½ cup Monterey Jack Cheese (shredded)
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
½ teaspoon Dried Thyme
1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), prepare the pie crust, and blind bake for 10-12 minutes. Reduce oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Step 2: Cook the ground beef in olive oil, sauté onion and garlic, and season. Allow to cool
  3. Step 3: Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper for the custard
  4. Step 4: Assemble the quiche with layers of cheese, beef mixture, and custard
  5. Step 5: Bake for 45-55 minutes until set and golden brow
  6. Step 6: Cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving

Notes

Blind baking the crust prevents a soggy bottom.

Use room temperature eggs and milk for a smoother custard.
