1 lb Pre-made Pizza Dough
2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour or Cornmeal
½ cup Marinara Sauce
½ cup Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
4 oz Sliced Pepperoni
2-3 tbsp Hot Honey
¼ cup Fresh Basil Leaves
½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. First, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Dust your work surface with flour or cornmeal and stretch or roll out your pizza dough to your desired thickness
  2. Brush the edges of your dough lightly with olive oil, then spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about a ½-inch border
  3. Distribute mozzarella cheese over the sauce, dollop small spoonfuls of ricotta cheese on top, and arrange the pepperoni slices across the cheese layer
  4. Carefully slide your pizza onto a preheated baking stone or sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden-brown and the cheese is bubbling
  5. Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle hot honey over the entire pizza. Scatter fresh basil leaves on top and add red pepper flakes if desired
  6. Let the pizza rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing and serve hot
