Cadbury Egg Brownies are a delightful springtime treat featuring a rich, fudgy chocolate brownie base complemented by melted Cadbury Creme Eggs, creating gooey pockets of sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup Unsalted Butter
2 cups Granulated Sugar
4 Large Eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
¾ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
½ teaspoon Salt
10-12 regular size Cadbury Creme Eggs, chilled

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pan by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly greasing a 9×13-inch baking pa
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl, then whisk in sugar until well combined before adding eggs and vanilla extract
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed
  5. Spread half the batter in the prepared baking pan and then place the chilled Cadbury Creme Eggs on top
  6. Cover with the remaining batter
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes and let cool completely in the pa
  8. Slice into squares and enjoy

Notes

Chilling the Cadbury Creme Eggs helps prevent them from melting too quickly.

Do not overmix to keep the brownies fudgy.
