A vibrant, fresh Caprese Pasta Salad that combines tender pasta with juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil, all brought together with a tangy balsamic glaze.

12 ounces Dry Pasta
2 cups Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Balls
½ cup Fresh Basil Leaves
¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2-3 tablespoons Balsamic Glaze
1 clove Garlic
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add your chosen pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water
  2. Prepare the Fresh Ingredients: Wash and halve the tomatoes. Halve or quarter the mozzarella to match the size of the tomatoes. Finely chop or chiffonade the basil leaves. Mince the garlic if using
  3. Make the Dressing: In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic (if using), salt, and pepper
  4. Combine Everything: Add the cooled pasta, halved tomatoes, and prepared mozzarella to the bowl with the dressing. Toss until evenly coated
  5. Add the Basil: Gently fold in the fresh basil leaves
  6. Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze: Drizzle the salad with balsamic glaze just before serving or toss it in for integrated flavor
  7. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Toss gently before serving
