2 cups Granulated sugar
¾ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 ¼ cups Buttermilk
2 Large eggs
½ cup Vegetable oil
1 ½ teaspoons Vanilla extract
¾ cup Hot water or coffee

Instructions

  1. Prepare your bundt pan by greasing it and dusting with cocoa powder
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  3. Whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
  4. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, oil, and vanilla until smooth
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined
  6. Add hot water or coffee and mix until smooth
  7. Pour into prepared bundt pan and tap to remove air bubbles
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness
  9. Cool in pan for 10-15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack
  10. Prepare glaze, and once the cake is cool, drizzle glaze over the top
