Chocolate Tahini Brownies are a rich, fudgy dessert that combines intense chocolate flavor with the nutty notes of tahini, creating a unique treat that is both satisfying and sophisticated.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup Unsalted Butter
1½ cups Granulated Sugar
½ cup Light Brown Sugar
4 Large Eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
¾ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
½ cup Tahini

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, greasing lightly
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a large bowl, then stir in ½ cup of the chocolate chips until smooth
  3. Whisk together the granulated sugar and light brown sugar, then mix in the melted butter and chocolate mixture. Add the eggs one at a time, and stir in vanilla extract
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined
  5. Fold in the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips
  6. Pour two-thirds of the batter into the pan and smooth it out, then drizzle the tahini over the batter. Spoon the remaining batter on top and swirl together
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs
  8. Cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing

Notes

Using room temperature eggs will create a smoother batter.

Don't overmix the batter to keep brownies fudgy.

Quality tahini is essential for the best flavor and swirl.
