4 large Eggs

1 tbsp Red Food Coloring
1 tsp White Vinegar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Buttermilk
1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper
  2. Melt the unsalted butter and whisk in the granulated sugar until smooth
  3. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well, then stir in vanilla extract
  4. Incorporate cocoa powder, salt, red food coloring, and vinegar into the wet mixture
  5. Activate baking soda in a small bowl with buttermilk and mix
  6. Alternately mix in the flour and buttermilk mixture until just combined
  7. Fold in chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pa
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs
  9. Let cool completely on a wire rack, then slice into squares
