1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
4-6 cloves Fresh Garlic
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
1 tbsp Fresh Chives
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1.5 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
12 oz Bowtie Pasta (Farfalle)
4-5 cups Broccoli Florets
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tsp Lemon Zest
Salt
Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cowboy Butter by mixing softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, chives, paprika, thyme, and red pepper flakes
  2. Cook the bowtie pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the seasoned chicken until golden brown and cooked through
  4. Sauté broccoli in the same skillet until vibrant and tender-crisp
  5. Add the cowboy butter mixture to the broccoli and stir until melted and fragrant
  6. Combine the pasta and chicken with the broccoli and cowboy butter, adding lemon juice and reserving pasta water for desired sauce consistency
  7. Finish with lemon zest and adjust seasoning before serving

Notes

Ensure butter is softened, not melted for the cowboy butter.
