12-16 sticks Part-skim mozzarella cheese
½ cup All-purpose flour
2 Large eggs
1 tbsp Milk
1 ½ cups Panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp Dried oregano
½ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Black pepper
Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Unwrap mozzarella cheese sticks and freeze for 10-15 minutes if soft
  2. Set up three shallow dishes for flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumb mixture
  3. Coat mozzarella sticks in flour, dip into egg mixture, then press into breadcrumb mixture
  4. Repeat the coating for extra crispness
  5. Freeze the coated sticks for at least 2 hours
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  7. Arrange frozen mozzarella sticks on the baking sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes until golden brow
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce
