These Easy Chocolate Brownie Cookies bring together the best of both worlds: the dense, fudgy richness of a brownie and the satisfying chew of a cookie. Each bite delivers a rich chocolate experience.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup All-purpose flour
¾ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Unsalted butter, melted
1 ½ cups Granulated sugar
2 Large eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 cup Chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
  3. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar, whisking for about 1 minute
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed
  7. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes (optional but recommended)
  8. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly puffed and set around the edges
  10. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely

Notes

Chilling the dough helps to enhance the chewy texture and prevents spreading.
