A delightful twist on a classic grilled cheese, the Gourmet Blueberry Grilled Cheese features creamy brie, sweet blueberries, and fresh thyme layered between crispy sourdough bread.

4 slices Sourdough Bread
4 oz Brie Cheese
1/2 cup Fresh Blueberries
2-3 tablespoons Salted Butter
1/2 teaspoon Fresh Thyme
1 teaspoon Honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients. Slice brie and mince thyme if using
  2. Butter the Bread: Generously butter one side of each slice of bread
  3. Assemble the First Layer: In a cold skillet, place two slices of bread butter-side down and layer half of the brie slices over each slice
  4. Add Blueberries and Thyme: Distribute half of the blueberries over the brie, sprinkle thyme, and drizzle honey if using
  5. Second Layer of Cheese: Place remaining brie slices over the blueberries
  6. Top with Remaining Bread: Cover with the other two slices of bread, butter-side up
  7. Grill to Golden Perfection: Cook on medium-low heat for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brow
  8. Flip and Finish: Carefully flip and cook for another 4-6 minutes until both sides are golden and cheese is melted
