A quick and elegant Honey Glazed Salmon recipe that combines simple ingredients to create unforgettable flavors. This dish is a perfect choice for a weeknight meal or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale

4 (6-oz) Salmon Fillets
1/4 cup Honey
2 tbsp Soy Sauce (low sodium)
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Fresh Parsley or Green Onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using)
  3. Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes, or 3-4 minutes for skinless fillets
  4. Gently flip the salmon fillets and reduce heat to medium-low. Pour two-thirds of the honey glaze over the salmon and continue cooking for another 4-7 minutes until cooked through
  5. Check for doneness by ensuring the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has reached an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C)
  6. Transfer cooked salmon to serving plates, drizzle with the remaining honey glaze, and garnish with chopped parsley or green onions

Notes

Ensure to pat the salmon dry for a crispy sear.

You can substitute maple syrup for honey or use tamari for gluten-free.

For added brightness, consider a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime before serving.
