3 lbs Chicken Wings
1 tbsp Baking Powder (aluminum-free)
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
½ cup Honey
2 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
¼ cup Hot Sauce
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wings: Pat chicken wings extremely dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl
  2. Season the Wings: Combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a small bowl and sprinkle over wings. Toss wings to ensure even coating
  3. Arrange for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment and place an oven-safe wire rack on top. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack
  4. Preheat Oven & Bake: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake wings for 40-50 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)
  5. Prepare the Hot Honey Glaze: In a saucepan, heat honey, butter, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper over medium-low heat until combined and simmering. Remove from heat
  6. Glaze the Wings: Transfer hot wings to a bowl and pour hot honey glaze over them
  7. Toss and Serve: Toss wings gently to coat and serve immediately
