An irresistible Hot Honey Chicken recipe featuring a crispy exterior, juicy meat, and a sweet and spicy glaze.

2 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 Large Egg
1/2 cup Buttermilk
3-4 cups Vegetable Oil
1/2 cup Honey
2 tbsp Butter
1/4 cup Hot Sauce
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Pat your chicken thighs dry and cut them into pieces
  2. Set up dredging stations with flour, cornstarch and spices in one, and egg and buttermilk in another
  3. Coat chicken in buttermilk, then dredge in flour mixture and let rest
  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet
  5. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through
  6. Make hot honey sauce by combining honey, butter, hot sauce, vinegar, and garlic powder in a saucepan until smooth
  7. Toss fried chicken in hot honey sauce and serve immediately
