2 Large Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup Almond Flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it
  2. For the brownie layer, melt the butter in a medium bowl. Add the sweetener and whisk well. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract. Sift in the cocoa powder, almond flour, and salt. Fold gently until just combined. Pour into the prepared pa
  3. For the cookie layer, cream softened butter with the two sweeteners until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients then fold in chocolate chips
  4. Spoon cookie dough over brownie layer and spread gently. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and set. Cool completely before cutting into squares

Notes

Chilling the bars for 30 minutes in the fridge after baking leads to cleaner cuts.
