The Knafeh Chocolate Bar is a unique dessert that combines the crispy texture of kataifi pastry with a decadent chocolate ganache, encased in a rich chocolate shell. 8 oz Kataifi Pastry
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
16 oz Dark Chocolate
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Pistachios
Pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kataifi by separating the strands and mixing with melted butter and sugar
  2. Bake the kataifi at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy
  3. Make the ganache by heating heavy cream and mixing it with chopped chocolate until smooth
  4. Temper remaining chocolate and pour a layer into the mold
  5. Add honeyed kataifi and pour ganache over it
  6. Top with more kataifi and seal with tempered chocolate
  7. Chill until firm and then slice into bars
