Matcha Tiramisu is a unique dessert that beautifully blends the classic Italian flavors of tiramisu with the earthy notes of Japanese matcha. This no-bake dessert features layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone, all brought together with the vibrant flavor of matcha.

16 oz Mascarpone Cheese
1 ½ cups Heavy Cream
½ cup Granulated Sugar
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
4 large Egg Yolks
2 tsp Matcha Powder + 1 cup Hot Water (for Matcha Tea)
24-30 Ladyfingers
1-2 tablespoons Matcha Powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Matcha Tea: Whisk the matcha powder with hot water until smooth. Let it cool
  2. Make the Mascarpone Cream: Beat egg yolks and sugar until pale and fluffy. Fold in the mascarpone
  3. Whip the Heavy Cream: Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold into the mascarpone mixture
  4. Dip Ladyfingers: Quickly dip ladyfingers into the cooled matcha tea
  5. Layer the Tiramisu: Arrange ladyfingers and cream layers in a dish, repeating until ingredients are used
  6. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours
  7. Dust and Serve: Dust with matcha powder before serving
