These Meatball Slider Bombs are individual, cheesy, meaty explosions that are easy to assemble and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Perfect for gatherings, they offer a delightful combination of tender bread, savory meatballs, tangy marinara, and gooey melted cheese.

1 (12-pack) Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
12 medium-sized Cooked Meatballs
1 cup Marinara Sauce
8 oz Mozzarella Cheese
2 tbsp Butter, unsalted
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Dried Italian Seasoning
2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish
  2. Slice each Hawaiian roll in half horizontally, keeping them mostly intact
  3. Hollow out a small amount of bread from the center of each bottom half of the rolls
  4. Place a tablespoon of marinara sauce into each hollowed-out center
  5. Add a cooked meatball and a cube or sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top
  6. Cap each slider with the top half of the roll
  7. Arrange the assembled sliders in the baking dish
  8. Melt the butter and stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning
  9. Brush the tops of the sliders with the seasoned butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is melted
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately

Notes

Don't over-sauce to avoid soggy sliders.

Use pre-cooked meatballs for best results.

Hollowing out bread helps keep the filling inside.
