Deliciously moist Nutella Banana Swirl Muffins made with ripe bananas and a generous swirl of Nutella, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
½ cup Granulated sugar
1 teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt
2 Large eggs
3 medium Ripe bananas
½ cup Melted unsalted butter
½ cup Sour cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
½ cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, mash the bananas, then mix in eggs, melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla
  4. Step 4: Combine wet and dry ingredients, folding gently
  5. Step 5: Fill muffin liners 2/3 full with batter
  6. Step 6: Spoon Nutella on top and swirl into the batter
  7. Step 7: Bake for 18-22 minutes until a skewer comes out clea
  8. Step 8: Cool for 5 minutes in the tin before transferring to a wire rack

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.

Do not overmix the batter to maintain a tender crumb.
