A classic, comforting, and delicious peach cobbler recipe that is simple to make and filled with fresh peach flavor.

6-8 large Fresh Peaches (peeled, pitted, sliced)
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup Unsalted Butter (melted)
1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour (for topping)
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar (for topping)
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Whole Milk
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (melted, for pouring)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Peel, pit, and slice your fresh peaches
  2. In a large bowl, mix the peaches with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  3. Pour 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish
  4. Spread the seasoned peach mixture evenly over the melted butter
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  6. Add 1 cup of whole milk to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined
  7. Spoon the topping over the peaches. Drizzle the remaining 1/2 cup of melted butter over the topping
  8. Bake for 45-60 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly
  9. Let cool for 15-20 minutes before serving

Notes

You can substitute with other fruits or even make a gluten-free version by using a gluten-free flour blend.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
