Garlic Parmesan steak pasta combines succulent, pan-seared steak with creamy Parmesan and al dente pasta, offering a comforting and indulgent dish that's easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs Sirloin or Ribeye Steak
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Salt
0.5 tsp Black Pepper
0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
12 oz Fettuccine or Linguine
3 tbsp Butter
6 cloves Garlic
1.5 cups Heavy Cream
1 cup Parmesan Cheese
0.5 cup Chicken Broth
0.25 cup Fresh Parsley
0.25 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
0.5 cup Reserved Pasta Water

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels and season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add pasta, and cook until al dente. Reserve 0.5 cup of pasta water before draining
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare
  4. Transfer the steak to a plate, tent with foil, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice against the grai
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté until fragrant
  6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, bring to a simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened
  7. Stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency
  8. Combine cooked pasta and sliced steak into the skillet, tossing to coat. Serve garnished with fresh parsley

Notes

For a spicier version, increase red pepper flakes or add smoked paprika.

Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition.
